Release #132 – Bokurani, Border, I Can’t Even Breathe, Shortcut & Togainu DJI know our release posts are usually full of happiness, but it’s a bit hard to do that today. Yesterday, sadness came to the yaoi scanlation world as one of the finest groups to ever scanlate announced their disbandment. Whether you are a long time fan or a new one, Forever-More has been a huge part of your yaoi reading. I wish I could find the words to express how much joy they have brought to everyone and how much we appreciate them, but words are failing me.
To the entire Forever-More staff (both past and present), we thank you for the 4+ years of wonderful scanlations. You will be dearly missed and we wish you all the best in the future. And please know that even though you won’t be scanlating anymore you will always have a place in our hearts.
We are extremely honored that Kiara has entrusted us with their projects. Forever-More has always set the standards for gorgeous, high quality scanlations, and we vow to do our best to continue their projects in the same way. After going over the project list with our staff, we have decided to adopt all of F-M’s projects. They will be treated like our own projects so their releases will not be favored or neglected, so please don’t email us asking when the next chapter will come out.
But if you can’t sit still waiting, you can help us by…
Translating: We could always use some more Japanese translators for projects with and without furigana.
Proofreading: We really need some more English proofreaders. You must be able to speak and write American English fluently, as well as know how to use punctuation properly (please remember that your email is our first impression of your grammar abilities). Also, make sure that you read the tutorial carefully.
Cleaners: You’ll be removing all text/sfx and dust/specks, level the scans and get them ready for the editors. If you’ve never done this before, but do know your way around photoshop, don’t worry since we will train you.
Editing: This is the area we really need more people, as the proofread scripts are starting to pile up. You must be knowledgeable with photoshop (especially with cloning out sfx). Previous scanlation experience is a huge bonus, but not necessarily needed.

I just also found out that forever more is disbanding is extreme sad about it since it one of my favorite but am glad to see that it legasy still live Thank you for picking up their project and thank for your hard work on bringing us this week release. Wow! Thank you for the new releases. I especially love the expressions and the cuteness in I Can’t Breathe Without You and Bokurani Matsuwaru etc. You always do great work and I love you’re choices in projects. Each week is a new batch of chapters from my favorite authors. Saturdays were never so sweet.

When I went to the Forever More site and saw that they were disbanding, I was really sad. Forever More’s scanlations have been top-quality, but I’ve also appreciated that they pick mangas that have humor and a real plot. So….when I read that you were picking up their projects I was SO happy, because DP also does great work…and from a selfish standpoint, I’m so thankful that their terrific projects won’t just fade away without ever being finished. Thank you very, very much for taking on their projects, and also thank you for all the work you’ve done thusfar and will continue to do. Your hours and hours (and hours!) of work are appreciated!
