RELEASE #48 MOGURA TO TAIYOU

Just a single oneshot for you all today, but it is a good one. This is a special birthday release for our darling Cyn. :) I also forgot to make a post the other day for our joint project release. I’m so sorry about that. >_>

We are looking for 2-4 kick ass QCers to join us. Usually it is Faye, Scryren and myself doing this, but we just can’t do it by ourselves anymore. *looks at everything waiting in the QC queue* HOWEVER, before everyone rushes to apply, please read very carefully what our requirements are. As we have stated many times, we take great pride in the quality of our releases and this means that the QCer has a lot of responsibility.

We realize that there is most likely going to be no one who meets all these (I have no photoshop knowledge at all), so please don’t let that hold you back from applying.

• Fluent in English (American): Smooth flowing sentences make us happy. :)
• Grammar junkie: You will be able to answer the all important question of “To comma or not to comma?
• Willing to go in and butcher a sentence if needed so it will make sense. Chop it to bits or get it retranslated.
• Good eye sight. You would not believe how many mangakas hide sfxs. It’s like playing “Where’s Waldo?” at times.
• Not afraid to use contractions or remove un-needed words. Crowded bubbles make us sad. :(
• Some editing knowledge. You’ll be checking fonts, cloning, levels, etc.
• A little Japanese knowledge. This is helpful when pointing out missing translations. This very rarely happens since our editors and proofreaders are awesome and usually take care of this. :)
• Comfortable with all types of yaoi. Our projects range from soft to hard yaoi, with bondage, violence, rape and incest. We do not do any shota projects.
• Able to QC 1 chapter/oneshot per week. We know this is not always possible, so if it takes a little longer that is fine.

O ur amazing editors could also use some help. Right now they are all working on 2 or more projects and we hate that. Our goal is to have everyone working on no more than 2 projects at a time. But of course we can’t do that when people magically *poof* on us. So this means our remaining editors need to take on the abandoned projects, which then means it takes longer to release them. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS! No emailing to apply and then never sending the test back. This gets extremely frustrating after the first 5 times.

That’s all for this release. Next week we are either going to go for a ride with some truckers, peek into the world of the yakuza or see what the “Power Rangers” are up to. 3 good ones to choose from…though something else could always push it’s way in and demand to be released. It’s been known to happen. I guess you’ll all just have to check back next week and see which one was the pushiest. XD

EDIT: Someone said that page 40 was missing from Tsumasaki c03. It’s in there, but it has an extra “i” in the name so it actually shows up after the poscript, page 42. You can either rename it and delete the “i” yourself, or redownload the file.
